Microsoft Outlook 2013 Setup

Click on "File" at the top, then "Info" and then click "+ Add Account." This will pop-up a window called "Auto Account Setup." Go down to the very bottom of this page and put a check into "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next." On the next page, select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next" at the bottom. Start filling in your account information here.

User Information
Your Name: (This is your first and last name)
E-mail Address: (This is your full email address)

Server Information
Server Type: POP3 or IMAP

(POP3 downloads your emails off of our server and onto your computer. Any other device will not receive the new emails.)

(IMAP will only download a copy of what's on the server. All emails stay on the server until you specifically delete and purge them. This is useful to use if you have more than one device checking your email.)

Incoming mail server: choose your domain below

WHC customers use: mail.whc.net

Hiline customers use: mail.hiline.net

EazeNet customers use: mail.eaze.net

TexasOnline customers use: mail.texasonline.net

USAonline customers use: mail.usaonline.net

BasinLink customers use: mail.basinlink.com

Caprok customers use: mail.caprok.net

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): choose your domain below

Logon Information
User Name: This is usually just the beginning of your email address, but it *might* require your whole email address.

{e.g. - username or username@whc.net}

Password: (This is your password)
Remember password: (This is to have Outlook remember your password)

"Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" should not be checked.

Now click on the "More Settings..." button to the far right. On this small window that popped up, choose the "Outgoing Server" tab at the top and put a check into "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" ("Use same settings as my incoming mail server" should be selected) and now choose the "Advanced tab at the top. Here you will see two boxes with numbers. Make sure the settings look like this:

Incoming server (POP3): 995 (or for IMAP: 993)
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS

Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Use the following type of encrytped connection: STARTTLS

Click "Ok" at the bottom of this small window. Now click "Next" at the bottom, let it do its tests and click "Close" when it's done and then "Finish" on the "You're all set!" window.

Your account is now fully setup on Microsoft Outlook 2013.
